I am from São Paulo, Brazil, 59 years old, and passionate about mountain running. I started my journey as a road runner in 2009. In 2023, I decided to fully embrace the challenges of trail running. My debut in the world of mountain running was thanks to Roots Racing, to whom I am deeply grateful. This experience opened the doors to a new passion in my life. My connection with the mountains is fueled by a deep love for nature, especially the night sky. There's something truly magical about running under the glow of the moon and the twinkling of stars. This celestial fascination has always been a part of me, guiding my spirit both in the city and now on the trails. I'm proving that it's never too late to embrace new challenges and surpass personal limits. This is my second participation in UTMB, a significant milestone in my journey as a mountain runner. I return to the trails not just for the physical challenge, but to deepen my connection with nature, experience once again the majesty of the altitudes, and strengthen bonds with the global trail running community. Each edition is an opportunity for learning and growth in this sport that captivates me so much.
