Completed Marathon Des Sables (1999), Jordan Telecom Desert Cup (2001), Antarctic Marathon, Dances With Dirt Run Thru Hell 50K 2023 (3rd Place Main, 60-65), etc. Participated in Eco-Challenge British Columbia and Raid Gauloises Vietnam. Seven-time Ironman finisher. Ironman World Championship finisher, Kona, Hawaii, 1986. Three-time Michigan State USA Cycling Champion. Former member of Co. "F", 425th Infantry, (RANGER) Long Range Surveillance Team.
